The Canada Safety Council is a national, not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to safety. Our mission is to lead in the national effort to reduce preventable deaths, injuries and economic loss in public and private places throughout Canada.
The council serves as a credible, reliable resource for safety information, education and awareness in all aspects of Canadian life – in traffic, at home, at work and at leisure.
Membership contributions help fund the Canada Safety Council’s work as a national voice and resource for safety. As a CSC member you will receive resources to support and enhance your company’s interest in safety and help fund national safety campaigns and promotion materials.
There are three types of memberships available. They include a Sustaining membership $1000+, a Corporate membership $250+, and an Individual membership $50.
Sustaining Membership package – $1000+
The benefits of becoming a Sustaining Member of the Council are:
- You will receive Safety Canada – CSC’s quarterly electronic newsletter that covers current safety topics and issues that are important for all Canadians.
- Two subscriptions to Living Safety – CSC’s quarterly off-the-job safety magazine offers practical information for safety at home, on the road, and in the community.
- All National Safety Campaign materials — CSC currently produces safety materials for eight safety campaigns which highlight specific safety issues.
- A link on our website.
- Your organization will be entitled to preferred group rates from TD Insurance both home and auto insurance.
- Membership wall certificate.

A charitable receipt will be given for all memberships.
